Photographing the Farm: Animals in Art (July 29-Aug 2)

(Going into) Grades: 3-6
July 29 – August 2, 2019
9:00 am – 3:00 pm (extended hours available)
Location: The Farmhouse Studios & Outdoor Garden
Makers: Kat Rokita + Staff
Limit: 20

In this camp, professional photographer Kat Rokita will explore the world of photography – composition, exposure, focus, perspective and the usage of light and dark. They will use the farm as a setting to take hundreds of photos to critique in a group setting and then edit them by using Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom. And, of course, kids will get creative and arty by making photobooks of smashbooks using our Instax cameras and zinc printers. On Friday, they will create a photography exhibit to share with families. Although we will have many cameras to share, we ask campers to bring a digital camera, dslr, or iPod/iPhone if they are able.

A $50 deposit is required to hold a camp spot. Final payments are due no later than July 1, 2019. Or, you can pay in full.
