March 30 – Colored Pencils in My Hand: The Artistry of Animals

Ages: 6-12
Thursday, March 30, 2017

9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Makers: Emily Piper and Staff

This workshop is designed for the serious young illustrator who wants to learn the art of drawing and shading with colored pencils. Each artist will receive a beautiful blank drawing book, and we will learn how to draw and color a menagerie of animals. After learning technique, we will head outdoors and draw studies of our remarkably sweet farm animals including the donkeys, goats, sheep, bunnies, horses, hens and of course, Wallace. Oh, and how can we forget Honey the Cow? I just ordered a huge supply of artist-quality colored pencils, let’s put these tools to work!

Extended care available for this workshop from 7:45 am to 6:00 pm:
